Conversation starter. Start light and fun conversation in your group about the series topic.
•Do you believe in miracles? Why or Why not?
Contemplate. Ask questions to get your group thinking about these principles.
•Please read John 2:1-5. Jesus seemingly says no but His mom proceeds as if she new He would act why do you think that is?
•Is there a life application from those verses to be used in your life? Can you expect God to act in miraculous ways?
Contribute. Ask questions that create personal openness in your group.
•Read John 2:11. Jesus revealed His glory through this first sign. What are the signs and ways He has revealed His glory to you or in your life?
•Has there been anything in your life that you knew was God working a miracle for you?
Cry out to God. Pray intensely for your group on the topic.
Begin by asking your group if there are any needs and note them.
Father, we love that we are allowed to call You Father and thank You for the miracle of being Your adopted children. We have identified certain needs, _______Say the needs___________, and we are asking You for help. Show us how to move forward as we trust in You for the impossible. We love You and know You love us. Thank You. Amen.
Commit to change. What’s a new area to grow with the Lord?
•Read the sermon points. This week, I will find a need to bring to Jesus, asking for help. I will do what He says, believing He can do the impossible. Please note, sometimes the miracle is not the change of our circumstance but the change in our heart towards it.
