Part 2: Good Vs Bad

Nov 11, 2018    Kyle McLaughlin

Conversation starter. Start light and fun conversation in your group about the series topic.
•Are there any people you looked at as if they were righteous or sinless? No one is truly sinless but Jesus.
Contemplate. Ask questions to get your group thinking about these principles.
•Read Galatians 2:20-21 multiple times out loud with your group. There are four sentences. Give one sentence to each person so all sentences are covered. Take 3-5 minutes to contemplate the sentences and have people share what the Lord spoke to them through their sentence.
Contribute. Ask questions that create personal openness in your group.
•Read Romans 3:23-24; Galatians 3:1-4 and the sermon points: Have each person talk about two things, what life circumstances were going on when they finally realized they needed a savior to be right with God? What do they do differently now because of their faith?
Cry out to God. Pray intensely for your group on the topic.
Father, we thank You for Your grace. It is only by Your grace that we are saved. As life continues to move, help us have the faith to keep You as our focus. It is in Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Commit to change. What’s a new area to grow with the Lord?
•I commit to changing one thing in my life this week. I will change it by faith and it will be to glorify God.
•When I fall short, I will focus on the finished work of Jesus on the cross and recognize that His perfect grace has defeated my sin.
